Assistive Equipment Platform
Ordering, Rental Tracking and Reporting in One Place
One clear service for finding assistive equipment, placing and managing rental orders, arranging returns and keeping managers informed.
A New Zealand disability services provider needed to help clinicians, therapy assistants, equipment teams and contract managers coordinate assistive equipment efficiently and responsibly. We contributed to a service that brings their work together, so each person can find equipment, place and manage orders, arrange delivery and collection, and understand what is currently on rent without moving between disconnected systems.

One service shared by people with very different jobs
Equipment rental is not a conventional online shop. A single request can involve a clinician, a person receiving support, an organisation, an equipment team and a contract manager. Everyone needs the right information at the right time, from the first equipment search through delivery, rental extensions and collection.
- Each team needed to see the tasks and information relevant to its responsibilities
- Routine orders needed to be quick while still capturing the details required for safe service
- Staff needed one current record instead of re-entering or reconciling information
- Managers needed a clear view of active rentals, costs and service activity
Give every team a clear place to do its part
As part of the delivery team, we helped shape the service around the way people actually work. Each team sees the orders, actions and reports it needs, while shared information keeps the journey consistent from equipment search to collection. The complexity stays behind the scenes, so staff can focus on the next useful action.
